Elder Rides & more is owned and operated by a Physical Therapist. Several of our drivers are healthcare workers. These medical professionals have specialized training in mobility and a deep understanding of how to assist you in and out of your home, throughout your trip, and provide additional assistance at your destination.
Safety
Our state-of-the-art vans are clean and safe. Each vehicle must pass our daily safety check and maintenance schedule.  Elder Rides uses “QStraint QRT Deluxe” automatic tightening wheelchair secure tie-down system. QStraint automatically tightens all slack during travel to ensure your wheelchair does not move during transit. Drivers have HIPAA training, CPR training, defensive driving training, and First Aid training.
Comfort
When you ride with Elder Rides, you’ll ride in comfort. Our vans are climate-controlled, have free wifi, and unlike large vans and busses, offer a smooth ride. Each van’s floor is lowered 10 inches with an integrated kneeling system that reduces the slope of the ramp, making it easier for you to get in, and get out.
