Elder Rides & More, LLC is a transportation provider, born from the idea that many seniors experience challenges getting to the places they need to go. We provide rides and more! Count on Elder Rides for comfortable, reliable, and timely rides to medical appointments such as physical therapy clinics, chiropractic care, dental appointments, discharges from the hospital as well as shopping, family events and more.
We’re committed to providing on-time service along with courteous professional drivers who get you where you need to be, safely and on time. We can also stay with you during any of your appointments and assist you as needed. Susan Kobe – Owner
Susan is a Physical Therapist with a master’s degree in Physical Therapy from Grand Valley State University. She’s been a practicing Physical Therapist for 22 years in West Michigan. During those years, Susan has worked with seniors in several rehabilitation centers and various hospitals and has become an expert in the areas of safety and mobility. Jon Kobe - Operations Manager
Jon brings 17 years of transportation and logistics expertise to Elder Rides & More. His experience includes operating his own successful transportation company for over 10 years and has extensive knowledge in scheduling and routing. |
Our Vehicles
Each of our state-of-the-art ADA Compliant vans is setup for one passenger with an option for a single caregiver to ride along, at no extra cost. There is no worry of ridesharing and you will receive one on one attention during your ride.
For maximum comfort, we use non-smoking wheelchair accessible minivans instead of full-sized cargo vans or buses. Each van is equipped with a ramp and the floors are lowered to allow for easy entry and exit. Wheelchairs are secured with the QStraint system that eliminates wheelchair movement during transit.
Each van is climate-controlled to your specifications, has free wifi, and is clean and comfortable.
